Giving back

Investing in our community

Our mission is helping people build a better financial future. It drives the work we do in our community. We share our success by giving back to nonprofit organizations and educational institutions such as:

  • Community and economic development
  • Education and youth activities
  • Arts and culture
  • Health and human services

To learn more about our commitment to giving back to the community, read about our Community Reinvestment Act plan. To find out more related to the Community Reinvestment Act and your involvement, please read our Community Reinvestment Act Notice.

Our efforts are focused on areas that positively impact the future success of our community, with preference given to projects that will impact a large number of people over an extended period of time. In some situations, we will support projects that have national or international reach.

We have four primary areas of focus for charitable giving:

Community & Economic Development

  • Financial literacy and homeownership education
  • Transitional housing and affordable housing development

Education & Youth Programs

  • Programs supporting underserved populations in K-12 and post-secondary opportunities

Arts & Culture

  • Programs that provide cultural opportunities to underserved groups through theatrical, musical or visual arts organizations
  • Organizations that preserve and spread cultural legacies

Health & Human Services

  • Programs addressing hunger, homelessness and emergency services
  • Local healthcare organizations or local chapters of national organizations
