Are there any new features in Mobile Banking?

Yes, you can use Mobile Banking to find the closest First Federal banking center & ATM locations using your GPS-enabled mobile device. You can also use the Popmoney feature of our Online Bill Pay system to send money to virtually anyone, even if you don't have their account information (service charges apply.)

Can I get account information by text?

Yes, and you can use this with any cell phone that has text messaging enabled! (Data/message charges may apply. Contact your mobile communications provider for details.)

Here’s how to set up mobile text banking:
(Note to T-Mobile Customers: Contact T-Mobile Customer Service to enable your phone to send and receive texts from “short code” numbers.)

Log in to FirstFed Online Banking from your PC.

Click the “Account Services” tab in the top-right corner.

Click the “Requests” tab on the left menu.

Click the “Mobile Banking Enrollment” link.

This will open the Main Menu for mobile banking. From here you can manage the permissions for the devices you have enrolled for Mobile Banking and add new devices.

For security, the text messaging system is separate from the mobile banking app, so you will need to add your mobile phone number here. (SMS/text message charges may apply.)

Click the “Add New Device” button.

Enter your mobile phone number under Other Devices

Click “Continue” at the bottom right.

In the right hand column of the next page, select the mobile options you want to use and then Click “Continue.”

We will send a code to the mobile phone number you entered. To verify your identity, you will need to enter that code on your PC. This will activate your mobile text access.

Text any of the following commands to 61539,
which is our mobile texting number:

BAL  Your current account balances
HIST
Example: HIST CK1
List of most recent transactions
